Yuriy Iosifovich Spektor

In  1981 Yuriy Spektor graduated from the Ufa Oil Institute majoring in construction of gas and oil pipelines, gas storages and petroleum depots.

In 1981 — 2001  he taught and carried out research in the Ufa State Oil Technical  University.

Since  1996 Yu. Spektor was head of a research laboratory, focused on research and development and issues of pipeline system capital repair design, reservoir and distribution gas pipeline diagnostics.

Since 2001 he worked in JSC “Giprotruboprovod”, JSC “SC “Transneft” leading design institute, as Chief Engineer and later Director General.  Yu. Spektor took part in designing and extending the Baltic pipeline system and designing East Siberia – Pacific Ocean oil pipeline.

In 2005 – 2009 working in JSC “VNIIST”, Yury Spector held positions from vice-president in research, engineering and design methodology to the first vice-president. He contributed to creation of oil pipeline automated design system as is used in all institutes implementing JSC “SC Transneft” projects.

In 2009 – 2011 he was General Director of LLC “Inteks”.

In 2011 – 2012 in the capacity of the first Deputy Director General worked for LLC “Transengineering”.

In 2012 – 2013 Yury Spector acted Advisor to General Director of LLC “Gazprom VNIIGAZ”.

Since  2013 he was Director General of JSC “Gazprom promgaz”.

Since  2015 Yuriy Spektor is First Deputy Director General of JSC “Gazprom promgaz”.

Reputed expert in the field of gas and oil pipeline and storage construction and repairs, Yu.I. Spektor contributed to many big-scale economically important projects.    

Under his surveillance there was developed  theoretical base of oil and gas pipeline new construction and repair technologies envisaging soil property artificial upgrading and enabling creation of soil engineering reclamation to ballast pipelines, to protect banks, to construct roads alongside the routes,  and to study organic matter conversion under SHF-range electromagnetic wave influence.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, professor, honoured worker of the Russian Federation oil and gas industry.

Author of 160 scientific papers, including 4 monographs.

Yu. Spektor holds 23 patents and inventor’s certificates.

Ekaterina D. Naschekina

E. Naschekina earned her degree in Geophysical Study of Wells from the I. M. Gubkin Russian State Oil and Gas University.

Joining the natural gas industry in 1997, she is in charge of editing science and technology digests, conference papers, booklets and monographs on geology, drilling, gas and condensate deposits exploration and development. She has around 20 publications in geology.
